Ranchi Sees Affordable Housing Growth Under PMAY Scheme

Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is witnessing a significant surge in affordable housing development, driven largely by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) initiative. This government-backed program aims to provide housing for all, particularly focusing on the mid-income groups and economically weaker sections of society.

Local developers are increasingly focusing on constructing 2-3 BHK flats that are priced affordably between Rs 15 to 30 lakh, making homeownership accessible for a large portion of Ranchi’s population. The PMAY scheme also facilitates subsidies and financial assistance, reducing the financial burden on buyers and encouraging more families to invest in residential properties.

This growth in affordable housing is supported by Ranchi’s expanding urban infrastructure, including improved roads, transportation, and civic amenities. Additionally, many new projects are being planned with modern layouts and green spaces, ensuring quality living standards.
