Daman, part of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, has received a major boost in its residential real estate sector. The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) has officially registered six new residential projects in the region, aimed primarily at first-time homebuyers and middle-income families.
These newly approved projects are focused on developing 1–2 BHK housing units, with price ranges between Rs 25–40 lakh. The initiative aligns with the government’s push for affordable and transparent housing, especially in emerging urban centers like Daman that are seeing steady population and commercial growth.
Developers behind these projects have committed to full RERA compliance, ensuring timely delivery, clear documentation, and financial transparency. The move is expected to build greater trust among local buyers and boost real estate activity in Nani Daman, Dunetha, and Bhimpore — the areas witnessing rapid development.
According to real estate analysts, Daman’s housing market is becoming increasingly attractive due to its coastal location, tourism economy, and ease of access from Gujarat and Maharashtra. The TNRERA approval ensures that all six projects will adhere to strict regulatory guidelines, protecting the interests of both investors and residents.
With housing demand picking up in the UT, the TNRERA registration is seen as a step forward in streamlining realty operations and promoting affordable urban living in the western coastal belt of India.
