Port Blair Sees 15% Faster Approvals, Boosting Eco-Hospitality Growth
Port Blair | May 2025:
In a move to accelerate development while promoting sustainability, the Andaman & Nicobar UT Administration has cut approval times by 15% for eco-friendly hospitality and real estate projects.
This reform is already boosting investor interest and expediting new hotel and homestay ventures in Port Blair, the gateway to the islands. The updated clearance process includes digitized submissions, green design fast-tracking, and simplified compliance checks, giving a much-needed push to developers focused on eco-tourism and low-impact construction.
Industry experts believe this will significantly increase project launches in the coming quarters and strengthen the hospitality pipeline across Andaman’s tourism hotspots.
