Sustainable Tourism Fuels Realty Growth in Leh
Leh’s eco-tourism sector is witnessing a sharp rise in real estate demand, with tourism plot prices increasing by 10%, now ranging between ₹1,500–2,500 per sq ft. This surge is largely driven by a rising interest in eco-lodges, sustainable stays, and green hospitality investments.
Developers and hospitality brands are actively scouting plots for building low-impact resorts, homestays, and solar-powered lodges, especially along the Leh–Manali and Leh–Srinagar routes. Investors are prioritizing eco-conscious development to align with both tourist expectations and environmental regulations in the ecologically sensitive Ladakh region.
Experts say this trend is turning Leh into a hotspot for sustainable real estate, attracting long-term investors interested in combining ecological responsibility with profitable tourism returns.
