Regulatory Oversight Strengthens Buyer Trust
Srinagar | May 2025:
The Jammu & Kashmir Real Estate Regulatory Authority (JKRERA) has conducted inspections of 15 residential projects across Srinagar, focusing on construction quality, timely delivery, and legal compliance.
These developments, primarily offering 2–3 BHK flats priced between ₹60–90 lakh, are now under regulatory scrutiny to ensure adherence to approved plans and buyer agreements. The move aims to boost transparency and consumer protection in Srinagar’s growing residential market.
Buyers and investors are responding positively, as regulatory vigilance reassures them about project timelines and legal safeguards. This step aligns with broader efforts to strengthen accountability and confidence in Jammu & Kashmir’s evolving real estate sector.
