The Puducherry government has successfully completed the construction of 464 long-delayed EWS (Economically Weaker Section) apartments in Lambart Saravanan Nagar, marking a major milestone in its affordable housing drive.

Originally stalled due to funding and technical delays, the project has now been delivered under renewed housing board efforts. Priced affordably and supported by government subsidies, these units are aimed at providing secure shelter to low-income families.
