Demand for IT City Commercial Plots Rises 12%

Mohali’s IT City, especially along Airport Road, has witnessed a 12% surge in commercial plot prices, now ranging between Rs 3,000 and Rs 4,000 per sq ft. The rising demand is driven by the expanding IT sector presence, data centers, and improved road infrastructure connecting the area to Chandigarh and the airport.

Industry experts highlight that this growth reflects investor confidence and the region’s emergence as a prime commercial hub. The availability of ready-to-develop plots and supportive government policies have further encouraged commercial realty investments.

With increased leasing activity from IT firms and tech startups, Mohali’s IT City is set to become a major center for technology-driven businesses in northern India.
