Mizoram RERA Makes Online Filing Mandatory

The Mizoram Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has taken a decisive step toward enhancing digital compliance in the state’s real estate sector. The authority has now made it mandatory for all new real estate projects in Aizawl to register online, aiming to improve transparency and speed in approvals.
This move has already streamlined 10 new residential projects in the city, offering 2 and 3 BHK homes priced between Rs 55–75 lakh. Developers are now required to submit project details, layout plans, financials, and approvals through the official RERA portal, eliminating manual processes.
Aizawl, the urban heart of Mizoram, has been experiencing steady real estate growth. With increased demand for mid-range apartments, especially 2–3 BHK configurations, the digitization of RERA processes is expected to make the buying and selling experience more secure and transparent for both builders and buyers.
By enforcing online registration, Mizoram RERA is aligning with national best practices, promoting accountability, and helping customers verify project status before purchase. Local developers have welcomed this transition, noting faster turnaround times and improved investor confidence.
Buyers interested in the newly launched projects can now easily access details such as carpet area, pricing, delivery timelines, and developer credentials on the RERA portal, ensuring a safer investment ecosystem.
