Jharbhoomi’s Digital Registry Expands to Bokaro—Blockchain Enhances Transparency

Jharkhand’s Jharbhoomi digital land registry system has expanded to Bokaro, integrating blockchain technology to streamline property transactions. The initiative aims to enhance transparency, prevent fraud, and simplify land ownership verification for buyers and investors.
The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms, in collaboration with National Informatics Center (NIC), has digitized land records, enabling real-time access to ownership details, mutation status, and registry updates. Users can now verify land documents online, reducing manual paperwork and legal disputes.
Experts predict that Bokaro’s real estate sector will benefit from faster transactions, improved investor confidence, and reduced land-related conflicts. As Jharkhand strengthens its digital governance, stakeholders anticipate greater efficiency in property dealings.
