Nubra’s Tourism Hub Secures Rs 180 Cr
Eco-Resorts in Sumur Drive Commercial Growth
Sumur, a key village in Nubra Valley, is rapidly emerging as a tourism and investment hotspot, with recent eco-resort projects attracting funding worth ₹180 crore. This development is fueling a surge in commercial leasing activity across the valley.
With Ladakh’s push for sustainable tourism and eco-friendly infrastructure, Sumur’s serene landscape and proximity to popular sites like Panamik and the Siachen Base Camp have made it an ideal location for high-end resorts and hospitality ventures.
The investment marks a pivotal step toward making Nubra a year-round tourism hub, while also creating employment opportunities and improving infrastructure in the region.
