Nubra’s Tourism Realty Attracts Rs 150 Cr

Eco-Resorts Drive Realty Boom in Sumur, Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley’s emerging eco-tourism sector is witnessing a major boost, as eco-resort projects in Sumur have attracted Rs 150 crore in fresh investments. This infusion is expected to transform the region into a premium eco-destination, with commercial property prices experiencing a 10% surge.
Commercial plots in and around Sumur now range between Rs 1,300–2,100 per sq ft, as developers and investors eye the region’s growing popularity among eco-conscious travelers and high-altitude tourism entrepreneurs.
Industry analysts report that the funding is being used for sustainable resort construction, road connectivity, and solar-powered infrastructure, enhancing the overall appeal of Nubra Valley for long-term tourism growth.
This development aligns with Ladakh’s broader push to balance ecological conservation with economic growth, positioning Nubra as a key node in sustainable tourism realty.
