Chandigarh Enforces Green Building Norms

In a push toward sustainable urban development, the Chandigarh administration has made it mandatory for all new residential projects in New Chandigarh to obtain IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) certification.

This move is expected to significantly improve energy efficiency, water conservation, and air quality in upcoming real estate developments. Builders must now integrate eco-friendly features like solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and waste management solutions to comply with the new guidelines.
