Mohali’s Sector 67 Sees 18% Rise in Commercial Leasing
Mohali’s commercial real estate market is witnessing robust growth, with Sector 67 leading an 18% surge in office space leasing. The area has emerged as a prime destination for IT companies, data centers, and business process outsourcing (BPO) units, thanks to its strategic location and upgraded infrastructure.

Monthly rentals have climbed to Rs 60–90 per sq ft, with high absorption rates in both Grade A and flexi-office spaces. The surge is attributed to Punjab’s growing digital economy, improved power and connectivity infrastructure, and an influx of startups seeking cost-effective locations outside of Chandigarh’s core.

Developers are responding with new commercial towers offering high-speed internet, backup power, co-working facilities, and green certifications, which are attracting corporate tenants.

Industry analysts believe that Mohali is evolving into Punjab’s IT and business services hub, with continued leasing demand expected through the rest of 2025.
