Lucknow PropTech Startups Raise $5M Funding

UP’s PropTech Startups Secure $5 Million to Revolutionize Real Estate Transactions
Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, is emerging as a technology-driven real estate innovation hub, with its PropTech startups raising over $5 million (approx. ₹42 crore) in early-stage funding. These startups are developing blockchain-powered property platforms that aim to streamline and secure real estate transactions across urban centers in the state.
The latest round of funding has come from a mix of angel investors, venture capitalists, and real estate consortiums, reflecting growing confidence in the intersection of technology and property services in Tier-2 cities. The platforms being built offer tamper-proof title verification, digital sale deed generation, online rental agreements, property tokenization, and instant KYC tools.
This fresh capital is expected to fuel growth in cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, and Ghaziabad, where demand for fast, transparent, and paperless property dealings is on the rise. With an increasing number of buyers preferring digitally verified properties and secure transactions, the adoption of PropTech is fast becoming mainstream.
One of the leading startups, headquartered in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, is building a decentralized property registry system that integrates seamlessly with the local revenue department’s data, eliminating risks of fraud and duplication. These platforms are also attracting attention from banks, NBFCs, and legal tech firms, which are exploring API integrations for loan processing and legal compliance.
The Uttar Pradesh Start-up Policy 2020 and ease-of-doing-business reforms have created a favorable environment for such innovations. The state is now considered one of the most promising markets for real estate digitization in North India.
Experts believe this funding milestone marks a turning point in regional PropTech evolution, potentially helping solve some of India’s long-standing real estate challenges related to transparency, speed, and authenticity.
